Club Tertre Rouge will be holding a two–part, one day James Bond–themed event at the prestigious Stoke Park Club in Buckinghamshire. Stoke Park has a long association with James Bond and Aston Martin as it was a filming location for two James Bond movies: Goldfinger (1964) and Tomorrow Never Dies (1997).
The first, daytime part will feature a summer garden party and glamorous Aston Martin Concours d'Elegance event with many of the world's finest Aston Martins presented on the lawns of the Stoke Park Club. Prizes will be awarded to the best cars from each era of Aston Martin's history (Pre–War, Feltham, Newport Pagnell and Gaydon), and there will be an overall winner. A panel of judges that will include VIPs, celebrities and marque experts, will select the winning cars, and in addition to the concours entrants Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. will also have its current models on display.
The day will include a champagne reception, a luxury lunchtime barbeque buffet and afternoon tea, all served within an enclosure outside Stoke Park house. There will also be live music and James Bond characters along with additional activities and side attractions for children such as Odd Job Bowler–throwing, a Jaws chase and green–screen, fancy–dress photo opportunities.
Daytime entry ticket: £95 per adult, £40 for under 16s.
The second part of the day will feature The ThunderBall — a stylish and glamorous James Bond–themed ball, a charity auction and the awards presentations for the day's Concours d'Elegance competition. The dress code for The ThunderBall will be black tie/James Bond and guests will enjoy a champagne reception and a fine three–course dinner. Dinner will be followed by a charity auction of Aston Martin/James Bond memorabilia, organised and presented by Bonhams, and this will all be topped off by an excellent Shirley Bassey tribute act plus live music and dancing.
Evening ticket price: £225 per person. Tables of 12 available for £2,250.
Combined daytime and evening ticket: £295.
A country club & resort with an iconic mansion clubhouse, Stoke Park's facilities include 350 acres of historic parkland and gardens, a 27–hole golf course, spa, tennis, fitness and conference facilities, restaurants and a luxury 49–room boutique hotel.
